Member Since: May 13, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Monday September 1, 2014 5:40 PM cut it out and rid of the mold lines thus far today...need to primer this evening....i'm a bit tired of looking at it already....lots of flames...but i know have a basis from the flamers i did last month...but i think i might start with a white primer instead...plus some pink horrors to boot! but i think the pink and blue/aqua combo will look good...i'll also post some pics soon...still in pieces. See lot's to paint and still build...but that's cool...mold lines are gone and if i missed any I DON'T CARE! ;-) On and like my Be'lakor I'm making this playable in both 40k & WH! :-) see the sliding base? Be'lakor was magnetized and i really really didn't want to figure out how to magnetized this beast of a project....but i do have some long magnets....NO NO ...stick with the sliding base... good boy...peace [[Edited by dhstarwars on Monday September 1, 2014 7:14 PM]] |

Member Since: May 13, 2013 Initative RK: 1 MP: 0 | Tuesday September 2, 2014 9:53 AM I spent an hour just primering this thing!!!! 4 full cups of primer in my Badger Velocity AB ...and that holds almost as much as a GW bottle holds....granted i think i put like 5 coats...but it was white and i'm thinking if i chose to use GW spray can it would have been faster...but i wanted to make sure it's a clean thin cover... bottom line there is a LOT of surface area on this model! already set to paint up the flames and base coating the rest of the model pieces...peace |
