I was thinking of getting into WW2 historical and was wondering if you game, what you might suggest - Thanks, RD Scientists study the world as it is; Engineers create the world that has never been. ~Theodore von Karman |

I got the ba-64 built, just need to fill in a few gaps, the Gaz truck needs the riders to get built. I hope to get that done tonight and then prime tomorrow. I will actually take some pics of the armored car and a mini so you can get an idea of scale. Putting these together was a lot of fun, and while the warlord kits are good, these have a bit more detail and are just a bit cheaper. I think I ordered these off of amazon for 30 for both maybe so it was a good deal. I have really really enjoyed bolt action. Its fun, pretty easy to get into, and thanks to WWII being a popular era for wargaming, there are tons of options for figures. I was actually working on a intro to bolt action post some time ago, I guess its about time to finish it and put it up here. |

I put the finishing touches on the truck and armored car, the truck came with a driver and 4 passengers for the back which were kind of neat to put together. Hope to get this all primed on tuesday. |

The vehicles are primed, but I may go back over them with a slightly lighter shade of green. I bought some vallejo russian green primer and its a good green, but it looks almost black from more than 5 feet away unless under some really heavy lighting so I may try and throw down some heavy highlighting of vallejo cayman green which is a shade or so lighter. My worry is that I won't be able to pull off chipping and weathering well enough if it all looks almost black anyway. Crew sad keanuvich Vehicles, gaz truck, BA64, and a t34/85 that I base coated with krylon camo forest green a long long time ago. You can see where I was playing with colors on the bottom of the truck bed. |

Pretty much on the final stage where I plan on mixing up some mud using fiber paste and a couple shades of brown and slap it around the tank tracks and under the fenders of the truck and armored car. Don't want it too muddy, but enough to tell its been through some recently. |
