QUESTION ASKED AFTER FILMING:
Q: Is it best practice to have a contract before starting commission work?
A: Depends on your business, but it definitely could not hurt. Commission painters usually use E-Mails as contacts. If you decide to do a contact, you want the following to be agreed upon/ signed to:
- Rate of Pay
- Time line (Or Approximation)
- If commission is not paid for what are the terms? (i.e. 30 days unpaid = reserves the right to sell. etc. )
