 Member Since: May 13, 2013  RK: 1 MP: 0   | Monday May 13, 2013 9:58 PM Hey everyone, I am gearing up to start a Kickstarter here soon for a series of Laser cut Terrain I am designing. Project overview: I ordered a laser-cutter and in order to make some of the money back I want to run a Kickstarter to sell some of my modular terrain. It will be affordable for almost any wargamer and will provide a huge amount of flexibility. I am not looking to make a living off of this, just fund my hobby, this means I don't have to charge a lot. Here are some of my first pass design shots: Wall sections are 3" tall and 6" long.          These are not final designs, always open to suggestions I am also going to design some more scatter terrain to go along with this set. I will also be working on a Grim Dark theme, and I would like to design some 15mm and 10mm WW2 and Scifi, possibly even 6mm (BattleTech and Epic40k) My laser and 2 tons (4000lbs) of 1/8" MDF will be delivered the week of the 27th at that point I will begin prototyping physical kits and making additions and changes as needed. This is both good and bad, good to have it, bad that I will be right in the middle of moving!Also one of my employees that does the 2d concept art for my studio is running short on work so I going to put him to task on designing some more terrain for this project. Keeping him busy means I don't have to lay him off  |
