I spent a lot of time doing the shading on the skin trying to keep it even, then giving the armor a good wash to make it look "lived in". I think the results are good so far. Little bits of cleanup, ringing the bases and then giving it a Matt Varnish and then gloss coating the armor one last time for a nice sheen.        |

This is my "counts as Dire Troll Earthborn"  Reaper parts, Dire Troll Mauler kit spare head and hands and a whole lot of model paste. Debating making a loincloth for him out plasticard or give him something made out of moss covering troll butt / crotchal region. Thoughts for that? |

Really like the skin on those trolls, and the armour looks great as well. Those bases are something else too! Any chance of a quick tutorial (between threats of course) on how you went about making them? |

I'm actually working on a series of video tutorials for hobbying on a budget and still making cool stuff, and among that is how to make bases like this. I'll be sure to post them when they're all done. |
